First we look at the stones
Out of the old setting, where you can actually see them. Old stones quite often have small chips at the girdle that the setting was hiding, and that matters because a chipped girdle changes what settings are safe.
We will tell you what you have and what condition it is in before any design conversation happens.
What is possible
A centre stone from an old ring into a new one. A set of small stones from several pieces gathered into one. Earrings made from a pair that came out of something else. Stones from a piece that broke beyond repair, given a second life.
Sometimes you need one more
If a design wants a stone you do not have, we can source it and match it to yours. That is a conversation about what it should look like next to what you already own, rather than a catalogue number.
Nothing is made until you approve it
Design drawn at the counter, agreed by you, and only then does anything get cut. Most custom work runs about one to two weeks once the design is settled.

Can you take stones out of my old ring?
Yes, and we check them properly once they are out. That is when damage shows.
What if a stone is chipped?
We tell you, and it may change which settings are safe. Sometimes a chip can be hidden by the right setting.
Can you match extra stones to mine?
Yes. Matching to what you already own is the part that matters and we do it by eye at the counter.
How long does it take?
About one to two weeks once the design is agreed.
