Why there is no number on this page
The gold market moves every single day, sometimes noticeably between morning and afternoon. Any figure printed here would be wrong by the time you read it. What matters is what it is worth today, and that is a conversation at the counter.
What we look at
What is it — gold, silver, platinum? What karat, and is it marked? What does it weigh? Are there stones, and are they part of the value or just along for the ride? Is the piece worth more as it stands than as metal, because sometimes it is and we will say so.
We buy more than gold
- Gold — 10k, 14k, 18k, 22k, 24k. Yellow, white and rose.
- Gold with diamonds — rings especially. Bring the whole piece.
- Silver and platinum — bring it in and we will see what we can give you.
- Diamonds — set or loose. Loose stones depend on the stone, so it is worth a look.
- Broken pieces, single earrings, tangled chains — it does not have to be wearable.
Before you decide to sell
Ask us whether it is worth more repaired. A chain that just needs a clasp, or a ring that needs one prong, is sometimes worth considerably more as a piece of jewelry than as scrap. We do both here, so we have no reason to push you one way or the other. If repairing it serves you better, we will tell you.
How it works at the counter
You bring it in during mall hours. We weigh it, test it and look at it in front of you. We tell you what we would give for it that day. You say yes or you say no and take it home. There is no pressure and no obligation either way.

Do I need an appointment?
No. Walk in during mall hours and we will look at it with you.
Will you buy broken jewelry?
Yes. Single earrings, snapped chains, bent rings — it does not need to be wearable.
Do you buy silver and platinum too?
Bring it in and we will see what we can give you. It depends on the piece and on where the market is that day.
Should I sell it or repair it?
Sometimes repairing is worth more than selling. We do both, so ask us and we will give you an honest answer.
