Bring the whole bracelet
Not just the loose charm. Every charm on the bracelet has had the same years, the same knocks and the same chances to work open. If one has gone, others are usually on their way, and finding them now is a great deal cheaper than replacing a charm you cannot replace.
Why they come off
Almost always the jump ring. A jump ring is a circle of wire with a join in it, and if the join was never soldered it slowly works open until the charm slides out. It is the single most common reason charms are lost, and the fix is to solder them shut.
What we do
- Every jump ring soldered closed, not just the one that failed.
- Worn rings replaced where the wire has thinned.
- Charms that have worn through at their own loop built back up.
- The clasp and end links checked, because a heavily loaded bracelet is hard on both.
Pandora-style bracelets
Threaded and clip-on beads are their own system. Bring the bracelet in and we will look at how yours is put together before suggesting anything.
If the charm is gone for good
Bring the bracelet anyway. Getting the others secured is the thing that stops this happening twice.

Why do charms keep falling off?
Nearly always an unsoldered jump ring working itself open. Soldering them shut is what stops it.
Should I bring the whole bracelet?
Yes. The other charms have had the same wear and it is much cheaper to secure them than replace them.
Do you work on Pandora-style bracelets?
Bring it in and we will look at how yours is built. The threaded and clip systems are their own thing.
How long does it take?
Most are same day. A full bracelet of charms may take longer and you will get a date.
