What people bring
- Wine and champagne bottles — weddings, anniversaries, retirements, a milestone birthday.
- Liquor bottles — whiskey and tequila especially, usually with a name and a date.
- Glassware — tumblers, decanters, beer glasses, sets for a groomsman or a bridal party.
- Flasks, lighters and money clips — small, personal, and they last.
- Trophies and plaques — for a league, a team or an office.
Bring the actual bottle
Glass varies. Thickness, curve and whether it is coated all change what is possible and where the engraving should sit. We would rather see the piece than work from a description — and it lets us show you where it will look right, which is usually not where people first imagine.
Full bottles
Bring it full if it is being given full. It changes how we handle and support it, and it is better to plan for that than to work it out on the day.
Ordering for a group
Groomsmen, a bridal party, an office. Come in ahead of the date rather than the week of it, and bring the list of names written out.
Questions we get asked
Can you engrave a full bottle?
Bring it in and we will look at it. Full bottles need different handling, so it helps to plan ahead.
What can you engrave besides bottles?
Glassware, flasks, lighters, money clips, trophies and plaques among others.
Can you do a set for a wedding party?
Yes. Come in ahead of the date with the names written out.
How long does it take?
Depends on the piece and how many. We will give you a date when you drop it off.
Not sure we can fix it?
Send a couple of details and we will call you back. Or just walk in — it is quicker, and we can actually look at the piece.
Drop it off, shop the mall, wear it tonight
We are inside Orland Square Mall in Orland Park. Walk in during mall hours, no appointment. Most repairs are finished the same day and a good number while you wait.
